Review: Elegant Touch Nail Art Kit in Rosalia

Recently Elegant Touch released some new goodies to their already wonderful line of false nails collection line, which debuted in the US in April.  You could find Elegant Touch products at Ulta stores and website.

So today I have one of those new additions to share with you.  It is Elegant Touch's Nail Art Kit in Rosalia, which I received for review purposes.  The nail art kits that they released all come with two glitter puffer bottles, 50 studs, a nail art applicator, and a protective sealer.

It also comes with an instruction leaflet for those who are not sure how to use the products.  Totally wonderful for those who are just getting into nail art.

They also have an example of a look you could do with the glitter puffers as well as the studs.  Honestly range free!  Mess around!  Experiment!

Rosalia came with round dusty gold studs, and a rose pink and purple fine glitter puffer.  The glitter puffers have a small opening where you basically squeeze gently to allow the fine glitter to puff out.  If you squeeze it too hard a rush of fine glitters will come out causing a big glob.

The nail art applicator is basically a cuticle pusher with a pink rubberized tip.  I had quite a difficult time trying to pick up the studs that I had to get my actual rhinestone picker to use for this.

The protective sealer glides on smoothly but takes a while to dry.  So be super careful.  For the studs you place the protective sealer over your base color/design.  Next arrange the studs you want them to be upon your nail.  Then you place another coat of protective sealer over it.  Likewise with the glitter puffers.

I decided to do a simple look with the nail art kit.  My base is OPI A Definite Moust-have and Don't Burst My Bubble, doing a simple gradient.  I took the glitter puffer and basically squirted some of it on to the middle of my nail and gently blew on it to let it spread out more.  For the middle finger I focused on the tip and just gently kept squeezing the glitter puffer on to it.  I layered the pink and purple glitter then gently blew on it again.  Topped it off with the sealer for the studs and glitter.

There are three other kinds of nail art kits:

  • Iridessa
  • Luna
  • Silvermist
They go for $9.99 a set.  I think it's a wonderful idea for those people who are just getting into nail art.  Elegant Touch created a wonderful line with these nail art kits!

Have you picked one of these nail art kits yet?  Do you use any of Elegant Touch's products?
