Review: Beauty Narcotix - The Ultimate Fix

Ever had those moments where you are doing your nails, you get up to get a snack or drink, and as you reach to grab it BAM you knocked your nails up against something?  Or magical dents or scratches that appear upon your freshly painted nails?  Oh, we cannot forget those moments where our nails make us think that our nail polish is fully dry, go to do something and it totally HAHA in our face!  I have it occur so many times, but now with the help from Beauty Narcotix and their wonderful innovation of The Ultimate Fix I do not have to worry about that anymore!
**This product was received for review purposes, and in no way am I obligated to give this a 100% positive feedback.  This is based upon my own experience with this product.

Beauty Narcotix has been trying to develop The Ultimate Fix since 2008.  Trying to perfect it so that we nail lovers will love it.  Doesn't the bottle remind you of a mousse or hair spray?
When I first heard about this product I was curious if it could really get the job done.  I am always looking for ways for my nails to get dry fast since I honestly do not have that much patience in waiting.  The Ultimate Fix is designed to dry all layers of nail polish and allow it to last chip free for almost up to three weeks.  Who doesn't love to try a product like that?

This product is not difficult to use what so ever.  You basically spritz it over your nails after each layer of nail polish you apply.

Directions & application process straight from the canister:
  • Shake can well.  Spray 15-20 cm from nails after each layer of nail polish.
  • Apply base coat to all of your nails (either your fingernails or toenails).
  • SPRAY!
  • Apply your first coat of nail polish.
  • SPRAY!
  • Apply second coat of nail polish.
  • SPRAY!
  • Apply top coat.
  • SPRAY!
How simple is that?  Angela, from Beauty Narcotix, reminded me: LESS IS MORE!  If you spray more of The Ultimate Fix the longer it would take to dry.

On the day I received the package was the day I was about to start doing my nails for my good friend Alice's blog as a guest post.  I knew I just had to use the product!
Testing the product with some nail art seemed like a wonderful thing to do.  I decided my right hand would not have the spray, while my left hand did have The Ultimate Fix upon the nails.

The colors I used for this were Sinful Colors - Orange Cream, Pull Over, Winterberry. China Glaze - Sea Spray, Secret Peri-wink-le. CQ - Corduroy. Then I used a mixture of acrylic paints of brown and black to add the print part.

After each layer I sprayed The Ultimate Fix upon my nails.  To my surprise this product did not leave any oily residue and it quickly dried up on my fingers.  My nails felt dry to touch almost instantly.  I didn't have a single smudge from me touching my nail what so ever.

I left this design on my nails for almost a week.  I honestly was having such a hard time avoiding the temptation of wanting to change my nail look up haha.

Here it is after one week.  There was a small chip on my thumb only from me trying to open an eyeshadow palette.  UGH don't you hate difficult packaging?!  But it was super small!  My right hand on the other hand was chipping a bit and some shrinkage due to Seche Vite :( But I didn't notice any shrinkage on my left hand what so ever!  I was simply amazed by it!

The packaging is simply eye catching!  I love the big red X across the front and on the back it loops around the part stating what this wonderful spray does!  The only downfall I had encountered with this product was the scent it had.  I agree with the suggestion they state, when using it USE IT IN A WELL VENTALATED ROOM!  It actually reminds me of a deodorant spray type of smell that could get overwhelming considering how many times you might have to spray.  It does fade away after a while and smells much better than it did as I was spraying.

The Ultimate Fix could only be found on the Beauty Narcotix website at the moment.  For a 200ml spray it cost £17 which is about $25 sum.  I know that may seem pricey to a lot of you but keep in mind one can of  The Ultimate Fix
could last you a whole year.  It seems worth it considering a lot of us want our nail polish to last longer while on our nails.

Also a quick note:  This product works for all nail lacquers, base, and top coats.  This does not work with gel nail polish however.

Beauty Narcotix will be releasing a smaller version of this spray really soon!  So make sure to keep a look out of it on their website or follow them on Facebook or Twitter.  Also they are currently looking for a hand and nails model right now, so check out their Facebook fan page to find out more details.

Have you tried out The Ultimate Fix yet?  What do you think of the product?

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you have a wonderful day!
